Your Tasks

· Candidate should have a quality mindset and should be honest in reporting data and figures. Can work in firefighting situations.

· Should be aware of new and old 7 QC tools

· Knowledge of TPM , TQM and 7 pillars is must. Can understand the mission, vision of company and align the day to day working accordingly.

· Should have knowledge of DOE (design of experiment), 8D and other scientific statical tools for graph design and scientific data analysis.

· Responsible for addressing the risk at the manufacturing area & report to HOD to eliminate / mitigate the risk for continual improvement in manufacturing quality by cost simulation, human effort reduction, value addition & waste reduction of the manufacturing process / special process.

· Should understand ISO 9001, 450001 & 140001, NABL laboratory management system.

· Responsible for following the QMS & EnMS guidelines inside the department & in special process & ensuring the full adherence to the criteria as per ISO 9001:2015.

· Responsible for ensuring the full adherence of internal manufacturing test plan (MITP), Operational control procedures (OCP) / SOP & Control Plans with the daily activities performed for internal manufacturing quality & special process.

· Should have ability to conduct inspection with RDSO, RITES, SGS, and other Third party inspections, and adapt himself for working with railway officials.

· Who should have capability to work in railway tack for installation and complaint resolving.

· Should be preferably ASNT Level 2 in USFS, DP, MPI & RT.

· Can understand the 2D drawings of railway Turnouts.

· Can compile ISO manuals and railway quality documents.

· Responsible for internal manufacturing quality including special process & shall report to HOD as per the organization chart mentioned hereby.

· Responsible for continual monitoring of Process Performance (Cp) & Process Performance Indices (Cpk) for the CTQ(s) to control the internal manufacturing process with preventive measures.

· Ensuring organizational quality policy, departmental objectives & safety regulations are met as per the organizational quality manual & Quality Maturity Matrix.

· Ensuring the adherence of the visual management system at internal manufacturing quality & in special process area.

· Responsible for internal stage inspection & final product inspection & daily reporting of the inspection results to HOD for the manufacturing quality as per the relevant MITP / Check Sheet / QAP.

· Responsible for analyzing the process variance for the CTQ parameters of the internal manufacturing quality to ensure the preventive measures with the production team.

· Responsible for Process & Man validation for the special process as per the requirement of the OCP.

· Responsible for raising the internal non-conformity report & closing the same within stipulated time frame

. · Performing as an active team member in CFT for closing the open NCR(s) by ensuring the effectiveness of the CAPA guidelines.

· Responsible for ensuring adherence of daily activities performed in special process area with the relevant QAP/MITP/SOP/Control Plan /OCP etc.

· Performing Non-destructive Testing (NDT) for internal manufacturing process & special process (Welding) to ensure the soundness of the material as per the relevant criteria.

· Responsible for First Article Inspection to ensure the product validation on first pieces with the production team in manufacturing quality & in special process (Welding).

· Performing workstation audits once in a month frequency to ensure the continual improvement with preventive measures & mistake proofing & shall report to HOD accordingly.

· Responsible for all kind of required documentation for keeping internal records of all the activity performed in manufacturing quality & in special process with proper identification & traceability.

· Responsible for regular preparation of internal quality records required during FAT & sometimes carried out the joint inspection / FAT with customer & TPI at VBC whenever required.

Your Profile

· Diploma / Advanced Diploma/ B. tech / B.E. (Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgy)

· Candidate must have a minimum of 12 years of work experience in a manufacturing company.

· Candidate must have an awareness of quality management system, EnMS, problem solving approach.

· knowledge of 7QC tools old & new, risk assessment, 5s principle.

· ISO 9001 & NABL internal audit knowledge, ASNT- II (preferable)

· Good communication skills, Manpower management

· English language proficiency level ‘B’ (speak & write)
