Your Tasks

• Develop and design products in coordination with the Design Office to ensure alignment with project goals and technical requirements.
• Review Design Office drawings to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
• Create detailed drawings for manufacturing, including assembly diagrams, part specifications, and tolerances.
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring accurate and complete lists of materials, components, and assemblies.
• Prepare customer-specific drawings, incorporating feedback and specifications provided by the client.
• Maintain up-to-date specifications, drawings, and technical manuals to ensure consistency and accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.
• Compile and manage engineering documentation, including design reports, testing procedures, and validation records.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues, analysing root causes and implementing necessary modifications to resolve problems.
• Collaborate with other departments—Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Customer Support—to facilitate smooth product development and resolve cross-functional issues.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech).
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, with preference for experience in the railway industry, including familiarity with railway standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in IT and CAD software, including expertise in 2D and 3D tools.
• Strong creative and problem-solving abilities, demonstrated through successful design and implementation of innovative solutions.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to perform complex calculations and data analysis for engineering applications.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills, including the ability to draft detailed technical reports, documentation, and correspondence in English.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO, ASTM, or specific railway codes, to ensure compliance and quality.
• Analytical and numeracy skills.
